Infection Prevention (Health & Safety)
We provide Health & Safety Supervisors (Covid Compliance Officers) who receive film industry training and orientation prior to working on your production. Our company continues to provide support and training, and works with the production to ensure the working relationship is a positive experience for both parties. The HSS/CCO oversees all areas of infection control, and can either work closely with your production’s covid team, or we can provide the team to you. Our company’s focus is on consultation and recommendations, ensuring a positive working relationship with your production and all members of your team.
Medical Consulting
Our doctors and nurses work with your production to provide y9ou with the inside perspective on accurate skills and knowledge of the medical world. More than any other member of a health care team, the nurse works the frontlines and has a complete understanding of what working on the medical floor entails. Our doctors and nurses will help your production develop realistic medical scenes and settings. Our medical consultants can assist with advising on blocking for health care setting scenes from the operating room to traumas or birthing scenes. We work with your crew to ensure the perfect shot, such as assisting your prop master with researching the correct materials, or actors with looking natural while performing a skill. Your production team will be prepared to achieve authenticity from the writing room to camera.
We offer both rapid antigen testing and lab-based PCR testing for your entire production, as well as concierge testing at home or hotel cadence testing or pre-travel testing wherever your cast or crew is traveling from.
We will keep your production up and running during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our film industry experience began prior to the pandemic, and thus, we fully understand the way the film industry functions and offer a service that can bend to the needs of the production. We ensure testing is organized and efficient, and understand timely results are of the utmost importance. We will follow you on location, so you can focus on your film, and not on COVID.
Baby Wrangler Nurses
Our nurses are trained in maternity, pediatrics &/or neonatal nursing. They understand the importance of the health and safety of infants and toddlers on a film set. Our nurses ensure the overall well-being of the infants and how this applies to governmental and union standards, while working with the production crew to ensure they get the perfect shot when faced with an infant’s limited camera time. In addition, the nurse helps support actors in feeling and looking comfortable holding an infant (or uncomfortable, if this is the intent of the character). Given their film industry experience, our nurses are able to help parents new to the industry navigate working on a film set and expectations.
